Complete the form to express interest in volunteering with Thank You For Your Kindness. We are an all-volunteer organization, so we rely on good people like you who are willing to serve their communities. Filling out the form doesn’t obligate you to anything – it’s just a way to let us know you’d like to know more about the opportunities we offer.

Keep in mind that the areas of interest we’ve listed aren’t a complete list, and we are always open to hearing about unique skills that our volunteers think could be of benefit to those we serve. Don’t be afraid to share your ideas with us – we get excited by fresh ideas!

Once you have submitted the form, a member of our team will reach out to you via email, typically within 1-2 business days. We will then set up a time for either a telephone conversation or an in-person meeting, where we will go over current opportunities and provide you with basic information about the requirements to volunteer. If, for some unknown reason, you have not heard from us, or simply want to have a 1:1 conversation with someone immediately about volunteering, just pick up the phone and give us a call at (615) 471-0888.

Questions About Volunteering?

Volunteering is a meaningful way to build community, develop new skills, and support people who benefit from safe, caring relationships. Whether you have a lot of time or just a little, your presence can make a real difference.

Not at all. The most important qualities are reliability, kindness, and a willingness to learn. We provide guidance and support so volunteers feel confident in their roles. That being said, if you have any notable skills or specific interests, we would love to know about them so that we can fit you with the perfect role, and maybe even discover a new way to be of service to our friends in need.
